Summary
- No accounts, no sign-up and no forms. The calculators run entirely in your browser; the numbers you type are not sent to us.
- Calculator inputs may appear in the page address (for example
?a=225/45R17) so you can share results. They stay in your browser unless you share the link. - We use cookie-free analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics).
- The site may show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies for advertising; where required by law we ask for your consent first.
Hosting and server logs
The site is a set of static pages served by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect against attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. We do not use this data to identify you. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure page speed. It does not use cookies or local storage, and does not track you across sites. It gives us aggregate statistics such as the number of visits, the referring site and the country.
Advertising and cookies
This site uses (or will use, once approved) Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info (US) or www.youronlinechoices.eu (Europe).
- Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Consent
Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland see a consent message (a Google-certified consent management platform) before any advertising cookies are set. You can accept, reject or choose specific purposes, and change your choice at any time through the "Privacy and cookie settings" link that appears at the bottom of the page once ads are active. If you decline, Google may still show non-personalised ads, which use cookies only for purposes such as frequency capping and fraud prevention, where permitted.
Visitors in US states with privacy laws can opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising through the same message or Google's opt-out tools.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and delete them when no longer needed.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, Swiss FADP or California law) you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because we do not hold accounts or form data, we usually hold no personal data about you. For advertising data, use the Google tools above. To exercise any right, email contact@roadnumbers.com.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13 (16 in the EEA) and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will update this page if the way we handle data changes, and change the date at the top.
